Overseas Clearing and Forwarding (Co) Ltd was established and incorporated in 1993. Since the company's inception, our client base and range of services have grown steadily. We are members of UCIFA (Uganda Clearing Industry and Forwarding Association) with an adequate number of employees qualified in customs and freight forwarding.

Health & Safety

Smoking is prohibited in any confined or enclosed area of the work premises and in any place where there are flammable materials: office areas, vehicles, storage areas, toilets, canteens, eating places, or any place where it would inconvenience non‑smokers.

The Managing Director shall endeavor to have tags on all equipment indicating their use and safety precautions.

Any staff using intoxicants or illicit/addictive substances while at work shall be subject to disciplinary action.

Overseas Clearing and Forwarding (Co) Ltd shall take out an insurance policy for risky and hazardous jobs as defined in the Third Schedule of the Workers Compensation Act, 2000.

Staff shall ensure that waste is disposed of properly in designated facilities.

Staff shall ensure that the use of hazardous fluids and chemicals at work conforms to the required standards.

Staff who suffer injury in the ordinary course of work shall qualify for compensation in line with the Workers Compensation Act, 2000.
Applications for compensation shall be addressed to the Managing Director, who shall approve applications before they are presented to the insurance company for payment.
